Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the concept of lower semi-continuity and establish Ekeland’s variational principle within the framework of generalized metric spaces, recently introduced by Mohamed Jleli and Bessem Samet. Building on this structure, we derive new fixed point theorems and explore their implications in related areas of nonlinear analysis. The results obtained extend and unify several existing theorems concerning partial and generalized metric spaces.

Keywords: Generalized metric; Fixed point; Partial metric space.
